Abstract
CEC* is an implemented method for comparative analysis (CA) which is able to deal with intra-model and inter-model CA problems within a single framework. The algorithm constructs a comparative envisionment showing (1) possible effects of differences in the antecedent conditions or (2) possible causes of differences in the response of the two systems. CEC* has been proven sound and incomplete.
