Computing Convergence Angle From Random Dot Stereograms
Proceedings of the Eighth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence. Vision. Pages 1050-1051.
Abstract
Camera calibration is difficult in random dot stereograms lacking monocularly distinguishable features. An algorithm for computing the convergence angle from purely visual information without a prior solution to the correspondence problem was developed and tested. It is an experimental validation of some ideas first outlined in a previous report.
