# Computing Convergence Angle From Random Dot Stereograms

*Proceedings of the Eighth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence*, pages 1050-1051.

## Abstract

Camera calibration is difficult in random dot stereograms lacking monocularly distinguishable features. An algorithm for computing the convergence angle from purely visual information without a prior solution to the correspondence problem was developed and tested. It is an experimental validation of some ideas first outlined in a previous report.
