Abstract

This paper discusses some of our research into detecting and reconciling critical differences between a user's view of the world and the system's. We feel there is benefit to be gained by separating misconceptions into two main classes: misconceptions about what is the case and misconceptions about what can be the-case. We review some initial work in bo~areas and discuss our work in progress.
