Abstract
An important problem in computer vision is to detect the presence of a given rigid, 3-d object. Such objects can be detected from intrinsic image data by a Hough transform technique coupled with a polyhedral representation. More precisely, a known object is detected by finding changes in orientation, translation, and scale of the object from its canonical description.
