If the syst.. encounters new words, new expressions, or inadvertent ungr ....ticalities, it att..pts to understand what was ..ant, through contextual inference, and by asking intelligent clarifying questions of the user. The syst.. then records the ..aning of any new words or expressions, thus aua--nting its linguistic knowledge in the course of user interaction.
