Hypothesis of Simplicity in Pattern Recognition
Proceedings of the Second International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence. Pages 318-320.
Abstract
This pa~er deals with the problem of constructing a general method for pattern recognition. It is proposed to realize this method based on a hypothesis of simplicity which is formulated in an appro p riate manner. The proposed method is illustrated with an example.
