Recent studies on multi-objective search with A* (MOA*) have demonstrated strong performance on challenging MOSP instances. This paper presents a novel search framework that enables efficient parallelization of MOA* through different objective orderings and a unique upper-bounding strategy that, in certain cases, allows the problem dimensionality to be reduced to one. Results demonstrate that the proposed framework can significantly improve the performance of MOA*, with speedups increasing proportionally to the number of objectives.","doi":"10.24963/ijcai.2026/915","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2026/915","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2026/0915.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2026/915.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2026/bibtex/915","volume":{"slug":"2026","title":"Proceedings of the Thirty-Fifth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2026","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2026/","year":2026,"location":"Bremen, Germany","dates":"15-21 August 2026","editors":"Diego Calvanese","isbn":"978-1-956792-09-6","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence Organization","doi_prefix":"10.24963/ijcai.2026"},"section":"Sister Conferences Best Papers","track":"Sister Conferences Best Papers","number":915,"pages":{"first":8215,"last":8220},"keywords":["Search: Heuristic search","AI: Planning and Scheduling"],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
