Recent studies aim to convert controlled natural languages into formal representations, yet these solutions are often tailored to specific languages and require significant effort.\r\nThis paper introduces a general framework that generates grammars for target representation languages, enabling the translation of problems stated in CNL into formal representations. The related system, CNLWizard, offers a flexible, high-level approach to defining desired grammars, significantly reducing the time and effort needed to create custom grammars. Finally, we demonstrate the system's effectiveness through an experimental analysis.","doi":"10.24963/ijcai.2025/490","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2025/490","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2025/0490.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2025/490.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2025/bibtex/490","volume":{"slug":"2025","title":"Proceedings of the Thirty-Fourth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2025","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2025/","year":2025,"location":"Montreal, Canada","dates":"16-22 August 2025","editors":"James Kwok","isbn":"978-1-956792-06-5","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence Organization","doi_prefix":"10.24963/ijcai.2025"},"section":"Knowledge Representation and Reasoning","track":"Main Track","number":490,"pages":{"first":4401,"last":4409},"keywords":["Knowledge Representation and Reasoning: KRR: Knowledge representation languages","Knowledge Representation and Reasoning: KRR: Logic programming","Knowledge Representation and Reasoning: KRR: Other","Knowledge Representation and Reasoning: KRR: Non-monotonic reasoning"],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
