Taking inspiration from it, we define the Action Situation Language (ASL), a machine-readable logical language to express the components of a multiagent interaction, with a special focus on the rules adopted by the community. The ASL is complemented by a game engine that takes an interaction description as input and automatically grounds its semantics as an Extensive-Form Game (EFG), which can be readily analysed using standard game-theoretical solution concepts. Overall, our model allows a community of agents to perform what-if analysis on a set of rules being considered for adoption, by automatically connecting rule configurations to the outcomes they incentivize.","doi":"10.24963/ijcai.2023/786","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2023/786","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2023/0786.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2023/786.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2023/bibtex/786","volume":{"slug":"2023","title":"Proceedings of the Thirty-Second International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2023","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2023/","year":2023,"location":"Macao, SAR","dates":"19-25 August 2023","editors":"Edith Elkind","isbn":"978-1-956792-03-4","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence Organization","doi_prefix":"10.24963/ijcai.2023"},"section":"Journal Track","track":"Journal Track","number":786,"pages":{"first":6937,"last":6941},"keywords":["Agent-based and Multi-agent Systems: MAS: Normative systems","Agent-based and Multi-agent Systems: MAS: Agent-based simulation and emergence","Agent-based and Multi-agent Systems: MAS: Agent theories and models","Agent-based and Multi-agent Systems: MAS: Coordination and cooperation"],"videos":[],"references":[{"position":1,"raw":"[de Jonge and Zhang, 2021] Dave de Jonge and Dongmo Zhang.
