Oftentimes, some of these sources, like Machine-Learning systems or crowd-sourced data, are not strictly binary but associated with some degree of confidence in the observation. Ideally, reasoning over such data should take this additional information into account as much as possible. To this end, we propose extensions of Datalog and Datalog+/- to the semantics of Lukasiewicz logic Ł, one of the most common fuzzy logics. We show that such an extension preserves important properties from the classical case and how these properties can lead to efficient reasoning procedures for these new languages.","doi":"10.24963/ijcai.2023/718","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2023/718","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2023/0718.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2023/718.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2023/bibtex/718","volume":{"slug":"2023","title":"Proceedings of the Thirty-Second International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2023","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2023/","year":2023,"location":"Macao, SAR","dates":"19-25 August 2023","editors":"Edith Elkind","isbn":"978-1-956792-03-4","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence Organization","doi_prefix":"10.24963/ijcai.2023"},"section":"Sister Conferences Best Papers","track":"Sister Conferences Best Papers","number":718,"pages":{"first":6447,"last":6451},"keywords":["Sister Conferences Best Papers: Uncertainty in AI","Sister Conferences Best Papers: Knowledge Representation and Reasoning"],"videos":[],"references":[{"position":1,"raw":"[Achs and Kiss, 1995] Ágnes Achs and Attila Kiss.
