Another important distinction is that between abstract approaches,\r\nthat abstract away from the content of arguments, and structured approaches, that specify a method\r\nof constructing argument graphs on the basis of a knowledge base. While ranking-based semantics\r\nhave been extensively applied to abstract argumentation, few work has been done on ranking-based\r\nsemantics for structured argumentation. In this paper, we make a systematic investigation into the be-\r\nhaviour of ranking-based semantics applied to existing formalisms for structured argumentation. We\r\nshow that a wide class of ranking-based semantics gives rise to so-called culpability measures, and\r\nare relatively robust to specific choices in argument construction methods.","doi":"10.24963/ijcai.2023/364","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2023/364","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2023/0364.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2023/364.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2023/bibtex/364","volume":{"slug":"2023","title":"Proceedings of the Thirty-Second International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2023","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2023/","year":2023,"location":"Macao, SAR","dates":"19-25 August 2023","editors":"Edith Elkind","isbn":"978-1-956792-03-4","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence Organization","doi_prefix":"10.24963/ijcai.2023"},"section":"Knowledge Representation and Reasoning","track":"Main Track","number":364,"pages":{"first":3268,"last":3276},"keywords":["Knowledge Representation and Reasoning: KRR: Argumentation"],"videos":[],"references":[{"position":1,"raw":"[Amgoud and Ben-Naim, 2013] Leila Amgoud and Jonathan Ben-Naim.
