The system consists of three cascaded modules: generation, resizing, and super-resolution. The generation module first generates a square-shaped painting, then the resizing module predicts an appropriate aspect ratio for it and performs resizing, and finally the super-resolution module is used to increase the resolution and improve the quality. After training each module with the images we collected from the web, our system can create high-resolution landscape paintings in arbitrary sizes.","doi":"10.24963/ijcai.2022/695","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2022/695","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2022/0695.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2022/695.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2022/bibtex/695","volume":{"slug":"2022","title":"Proceedings of the Thirty-First International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2022","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2022/","year":2022,"location":"Vienna","dates":"23-29 July 2022","editors":"Luc De Raedt","isbn":"978-1-956792-00-3","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence Organization","doi_prefix":"10.24963/ijcai.2022"},"section":"Exhibits","track":"AI and Arts - Exhibits","number":695,"pages":{"first":5015,"last":5018},"keywords":["Application domains: Images and visual arts","Theory and philosophy of arts and creativity in AI systems: Autonomous creative or artistic AI"],"videos":[{"label":"Video #1","url":"https://slideslive.com/38987174","length_sec":91,"provider":"slideslive"},{"label":"Video #2","url":"https://slideslive.com/38985317","length_sec":331,"provider":"slideslive"}],"references":[{"position":1,"raw":"[He et al., 2016] Kaiming He, Xiangyu Zhang, Shaoqing Ren, and Jian Sun.
