It proposes a logical system that captures the properties of such preferences, called \"likes\". The system can express nested constructions \"agent likes humbled people\", \"agent likes those who like humbled people\", etc. The main technical results are a model checking algorithm and a sound, complete, and decidable axiomatization of the proposed system.","doi":"10.24963/ijcai.2022/371","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2022/371","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2022/0371.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2022/371.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2022/bibtex/371","volume":{"slug":"2022","title":"Proceedings of the Thirty-First International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2022","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2022/","year":2022,"location":"Vienna","dates":"23-29 July 2022","editors":"Luc De Raedt","isbn":"978-1-956792-00-3","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence Organization","doi_prefix":"10.24963/ijcai.2022"},"section":"Knowledge Representation and Reasoning","track":"Main Track","number":371,"pages":{"first":2676,"last":2682},"keywords":["Knowledge Representation and Reasoning: Preference Modelling and Preference-Based Reasoning","Knowledge Representation and Reasoning: Reasoning about Knowledge and Belief"],"videos":[],"references":[{"position":1,"raw":"[Aho et al., 1972] Alfred V.
