Unlike in ordinary calculi, sequents that are derived in annotated calculi may still be retracted in the presence of conflicting sequents, thus inferences are made under stricter conditions. Conflicts in the resulting systems are handled like in adaptive logics and argumentation theory. The outcome is a robust family of proof systems for non-monotonic reasoning with inconsistent information, where revision considerations are fully integrated into the object level of the proofs. These systems are shown to be strongly connected to logical argumentation.","doi":"10.24963/ijcai.2022/351","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2022/351","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2022/0351.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2022/351.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2022/bibtex/351","volume":{"slug":"2022","title":"Proceedings of the Thirty-First International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2022","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2022/","year":2022,"location":"Vienna","dates":"23-29 July 2022","editors":"Luc De Raedt","isbn":"978-1-956792-00-3","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence Organization","doi_prefix":"10.24963/ijcai.2022"},"section":"Knowledge Representation and Reasoning","track":"Main Track","number":351,"pages":{"first":2532,"last":2538},"keywords":["Knowledge Representation and Reasoning: Common-Sense Reasoning","Knowledge Representation and Reasoning: Argumentation","Knowledge Representation and Reasoning: Non-monotonic Reasoning"],"videos":[{"label":"Video #1","url":"https://slideslive.com/38986708","length_sec":91,"provider":"slideslive"},{"label":"Video #2","url":"https://slideslive.com/38984851","length_sec":358,"provider":"slideslive"}],"references":[{"position":1,"raw":"[Abe et al., 2019] Jair Minoro Abe, Kazumi Nakamatsu, and João Inácio da Silva Filho.
