However, until recently, advances in optimal transport theory pave the way for its use in the AI community, particularly for formulating deep generative models. In this paper, we provide a comprehensive overview of the literature in the field of deep generative models using optimal transport theory with an aim of providing a systematic review as well as outstanding problems and more importantly, open research opportunities to use the tools from the established optimal transport theory in the deep generative model domain.","doi":"10.24963/ijcai.2021/607","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2021/607","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2021/0607.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2021/607.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2021/bibtex/607","volume":{"slug":"2021","title":"Proceedings of the Thirtieth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2021","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2021/","year":2021,"location":"Montreal","dates":"19-27 August 2021","editors":"Prof. Zhi-Hua Zhou","isbn":"978-0-9992411-9-6","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence Organization","doi_prefix":"10.24963/ijcai.2021"},"section":"Survey Track","track":"Survey Track","number":607,"pages":{"first":4450,"last":4457},"keywords":["Machine learning: General"],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
