In our approach agents\r\nhave belief bases containing both propositional beliefs\r\nand higher-order beliefs about their own beliefs\r\nand other agents’ beliefs. Moreover, their belief\r\nbases are split in two parts: the mutable part,\r\nwhose elements may change under belief revision,\r\nand the core part, whose elements do not change.\r\nWe study a belief revision operator inspired by\r\nthe notion of screened revision. We provide complexity\r\nresults of model checking for our approach\r\nas well as an optimal model checking algorithm.\r\nMoreover, we study complexity of epistemic planning\r\nformulated in the context of our framework.","doi":"10.24963/ijcai.2021/270","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2021/270","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2021/0270.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2021/270.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2021/bibtex/270","volume":{"slug":"2021","title":"Proceedings of the Thirtieth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2021","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2021/","year":2021,"location":"Montreal","dates":"19-27 August 2021","editors":"Prof. Zhi-Hua Zhou","isbn":"978-0-9992411-9-6","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence Organization","doi_prefix":"10.24963/ijcai.2021"},"section":"Knowledge Representation and Reasoning","track":"Main Track","number":270,"pages":{"first":1959,"last":1965},"keywords":["Knowledge Representation and Reasoning: Reasoning about Knowledge and Belief","Knowledge Representation and Reasoning: Logics for Knowledge Representation","Knowledge Representation and Reasoning: Belief Change"],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
