Argument mining is a novel research area\r\nin Artificial Intelligence, aiming at analyzing discourse on the pragmatics level and applying a certain argumentation theory to model and automatically analyze textual data. In this paper, we present\r\nDISPUTool, a tool designed to ease the work of historians and social science scholars in analyzing the\r\nargumentative content of political speeches. More\r\nprecisely, DISPUTool allows to explore and automatically identify argumentative components over\r\nthe 39 political debates from the last 50 years of\r\nUS presidential campaigns (1960-2016).","doi":"10.24963/ijcai.2019/944","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2019/944","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2019/0944.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2019/944.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2019/bibtex/944","volume":{"slug":"2019","title":"Proceedings of the Twenty-Eighth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2019","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2019/","year":2019,"location":"Macao","dates":"10-16 August 2019","editors":"Sarit Kraus","isbn":"978-0-9992411-4-1","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence Organization","doi_prefix":"10.24963/ijcai.2019"},"section":"Demos","track":"Demos","number":944,"pages":{"first":6524,"last":6526},"keywords":["AI: Knowledge Representation and Reasoning","AI: Natural Language Processing"],"videos":[],"references":[{"position":1,"raw":"[Cabrio and Villata, 2018] Elena Cabrio and Serena Villata.
