Our classification criterion is based on Personality Trait theory. We present a statistical scheme that dynamically learns the behavior of every pedestrian and computes its motion model. This model is combined with global crowd characteristics to compute the movement patterns and motion dynamics and use them for crowd prediction. Our learning scheme is general and we highlight its performance in identifying the personality of different pedestrians in low and high density crowd videos. We also evaluate the accuracy by comparing the results with a user study.","doi":"10.24963/ijcai.2017/17","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2017/17","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2017/0017.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2017/17.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2017/bibtex/17","volume":{"slug":"2017","title":"Proceedings of the Twenty-Sixth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2017","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2017/","year":2017,"location":"Melbourne, Australia","dates":"19-25 August 2017","editors":"Carles Sierra","isbn":"978-0-9992411-0-3","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence Organization","doi_prefix":"10.24963/ijcai.2017"},"section":"Agent-based and Multi-agent Systems","track":"Main track","number":17,"pages":{"first":112,"last":118},"keywords":["Agent-based and Multi-agent Systems: Agent Theories and Models","Agent-based and Multi-agent Systems: Agent-Based Simulation and Emergence","Agent-based and Multi-agent Systems: Multi-agent Learning","Multidisciplinary Topics and Applications: AI and Social Sciences"],"videos":[],"references":[{"position":1,"raw":"[Bera et al., 2016] Aniket Bera, Sujeong Kim, and Dinesh Manocha.
