A current research trend in belief change is concerned with tailored representation theorems for fragments of logic, in particular Horn logic. Hereby, the goal is to guarantee that the result of the change operations stays within the fragment under consideration. While several such results have been obtained for Horn revision and Horn contraction, merging of Horn theories has been neglected so far. In this paper, we provide a novel representation theorem for Horn merging by strengthening the standard merging postulates. Moreover, we present a concrete Horn merging operator satisfying all postulates.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2015/429","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2015/0429.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2015/429.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2015/bibtex/429","volume":{"slug":"2015","title":"Proceedings of the Twenty-Fourth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2015","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2015/","year":2015,"location":"Buenos Aires, Argentina","dates":"25–31 July 2015","editors":"Qiang Yang and Michael Wooldridge","isbn":"978-1-57735-738-4","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":"Special Track on Knowledge Representation and Reasoning","track":"Special Track on Knowledge Representation and Reasoning","number":429,"pages":{"first":3041,"last":3046},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
