In this paper we investigate how agents in Boolean games can reach an efficient and fair outcome through a simple negotiation protocol. We are particularly interested in settings where agents only have incomplete knowledge about the preferences of others. After explaining how generalized possibilistic logic can be used to compactly encode such knowledge, we analyze how a lack of knowledge affects the agreement outcome. In particular, we show how knowledgeable agents can obtain a more desirable outcome than others.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2015/409","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2015/0409.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2015/409.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2015/bibtex/409","volume":{"slug":"2015","title":"Proceedings of the Twenty-Fourth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2015","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2015/","year":2015,"location":"Buenos Aires, Argentina","dates":"25–31 July 2015","editors":"Qiang Yang and Michael Wooldridge","isbn":"978-1-57735-738-4","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":"Special Track on Knowledge Representation and Reasoning","track":"Special Track on Knowledge Representation and Reasoning","number":409,"pages":{"first":2890,"last":2895},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
