A recent trend is to construct AGM style contraction and revision functions that operate under Horn logic. A direct construction of Horn revision is given in [Delgrande and Peppas, 2011]. However, it is unknown whether Horn revision can be defined indirectly from Horn contraction. In this paper, we address this problem by obtaining a model-based Horn revision through the model-based Horn contraction studied in [Zhuang and Pagnucco, 2012]. Our result shows that, under proper restrictions, Horn revision is definable through Horn contraction via the Levi identity.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2013/181","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2013/0181.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2013/181.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2013/bibtex/181","volume":{"slug":"2013","title":"Proceedings of the Twenty-Third International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2013","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2013/","year":2013,"location":"Beijing, China","dates":"3–9 August 2013","editors":"Francesca Rossi","isbn":"978-1-57735-633-2","publisher":"AAAI Press / International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":null,"track":"","number":181,"pages":{"first":1205,"last":1211},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
