In particular we show that LTLf, i.e., LTL under this assumption, is less expressive than what might appear at first sight, and that at essentially no computational cost one can make a significant increase in expressiveness while maintaining the same intuitiveness of LTLf. Indeed, we propose a logic, LDLf for Linear Dynamic Logic over finite traces, which borrows the syntax from Propositional Dynamic Logic PDL, but is interpreted over finite traces. Satisfiability, validity and logical implication (as well as model checking) for LDLf are PSPACE-complete as for LTLf (and LTL).","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2013/132","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2013/0132.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2013/132.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2013/bibtex/132","volume":{"slug":"2013","title":"Proceedings of the Twenty-Third International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2013","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2013/","year":2013,"location":"Beijing, China","dates":"3–9 August 2013","editors":"Francesca Rossi","isbn":"978-1-57735-633-2","publisher":"AAAI Press / International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":null,"track":"","number":132,"pages":{"first":854,"last":859},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
