The axiomatization is based on the Event Calculus and combines the expressiveness of possible worlds semantics with the efficiency of approaches that dispense the use of the accessibility relation. The framework is proved logically sound and, when restricted to deterministic domains, is also logically complete. To prove correctness of the approach, we construct a knowledge theory based on a branching version of the Event Calculus and study their correlation.Theodore Patkos, Dimitris Plexousakis","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2009/151","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2009/0151.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2009/151.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2009/bibtex/151","volume":{"slug":"2009","title":"Proceedings of the Twenty-First International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2009","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2009/","year":2009,"location":"Pasadena, California, USA","dates":"","editors":"Hiroaki Kitano","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":null,"track":"","number":151,"pages":{"first":885,"last":889},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
