Three principles for argument accrual have been identified as necessary to hold in argumentation frameworks. In this paper we propose an approach to model the accrual of arguments in the context of Defeasible Logic Programming, a logic programming approach to argumentation which has proven to be successful for many real-world applications. We will analyze the above mentioned principles in the context of our proposal, studying other interesting properties.Mauro Javier Gómez Lucero, Carlos Iván Chesñevar, Guillermo Ricardo Simari","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2009/138","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2009/0138.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2009/138.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2009/bibtex/138","volume":{"slug":"2009","title":"Proceedings of the Twenty-First International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2009","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2009/","year":2009,"location":"Pasadena, California, USA","dates":"","editors":"Hiroaki Kitano","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":null,"track":"","number":138,"pages":{"first":804,"last":808},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
