In this paper we show how existing approaches to model-based diagnosis can be extended to diagnose intermittent failures as they manifest themselves over time. In addition, we show where to insert probe points to best distinguish among the intermittent faults those that best explain the symptoms and isolate the fault in minimum expected cost.Johan de Kleer","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2009/127","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2009/0127.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2009/127.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2009/bibtex/127","volume":{"slug":"2009","title":"Proceedings of the Twenty-First International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2009","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2009/","year":2009,"location":"Pasadena, California, USA","dates":"","editors":"Hiroaki Kitano","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":null,"track":"","number":127,"pages":{"first":733,"last":737},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
