We present a model-based debugging approach that is based on Abstract Interpretation, a technique borrowed from program analysis. The Abstract Interpretation mechanism is integrated with a classical model-based reasoning engine. We test the approach on sample programs and provide the first experimental comparison with earlier models used for debugging. The results show that the Abstract Interpretation based model provides more precise explanations than previous models or standard non-model based approaches.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2007/74","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2007/0074.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2007/74.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2007/bibtex/74","volume":{"slug":"2007","title":"Proceedings of the Twentieth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2007","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2007/","year":2007,"location":"Hyderabad, India","dates":"","editors":"Ramon López de Mántaras","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":null,"track":"","number":74,"pages":{"first":null,"last":null},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
