The method extracts attributes such as capital city and President for the class Country, or cost, manufacturer and side effects for the class Drug, without relying on any expensive language resources or complex processing tools. In a departure from previous approaches to large-scale information extraction, we explore the role of Web query logs, rather than Web documents, as an alternative source of class attributes. The quality of the extracted attributes recommends query logs as a valuable, albeit little explored, resource for information extraction.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2007/455","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2007/0455.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2007/455.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2007/bibtex/455","volume":{"slug":"2007","title":"Proceedings of the Twentieth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2007","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2007/","year":2007,"location":"Hyderabad, India","dates":"","editors":"Ramon López de Mántaras","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":null,"track":"","number":455,"pages":{"first":2832,"last":2836},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
