By exploiting motion present in the environment, our approach is able to recover a probabilistic model of the sensor network connectivity graph and the underlying traffic trends. We employ a reasoning system made up of a stochastic Expectation Maximization algorithm and a higher level search strategy employing the principle of Occam's Razor to look for the simplest solution explaining the data. The technique is assessed through numerical simulations and experiments conducted on a real sensor network.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2007/346","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2007/0346.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2007/346.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2007/bibtex/346","volume":{"slug":"2007","title":"Proceedings of the Twentieth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2007","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2007/","year":2007,"location":"Hyderabad, India","dates":"","editors":"Ramon López de Mántaras","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":null,"track":"","number":346,"pages":{"first":2147,"last":2151},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
