To do so, ASPOGAMO solves a complex probabilistic estimation problem that consists of three subproblems that interact in subtle ways: the estimation of the camera direction and zoom factor, the tracking and smoothing of player routes, and the disambiguation of tracked players after occlusions. The paper concentrates on system aspects that make it suitable for operating under unconstrained conditions and in (almost) realtime. We report on results obtained in a public demonstration at RoboCup 2006 where we conducted extensive experiments with real data from live coverage of World Cup 2006 games in Germany.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2007/333","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2007/0333.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2007/333.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2007/bibtex/333","volume":{"slug":"2007","title":"Proceedings of the Twentieth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2007","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2007/","year":2007,"location":"Hyderabad, India","dates":"","editors":"Ramon López de Mántaras","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":null,"track":"","number":333,"pages":{"first":2066,"last":2070},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[{"position":1,"raw":"[Bebie und Bieri, 1998] Bebie, Thomas und Hanspeter Bieri (1998).
