In this paper we propose a novel low power technique based on a multiple agent framework. We show how a set of simple rules can produce complex behavior that encompasses event characterization and data routing. We demonstrate the approach and examine its accuracy and scalability using a simulated gaseous plume monitoring scenario.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2007/224","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2007/0224.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2007/224.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2007/bibtex/224","volume":{"slug":"2007","title":"Proceedings of the Twentieth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2007","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2007/","year":2007,"location":"Hyderabad, India","dates":"","editors":"Ramon López de Mántaras","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":null,"track":"","number":224,"pages":{"first":1390,"last":1394},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
