We adopt a “reverse engineering” approach to this problem. Assuming a framework for iterated belief revision which is based on sequences, we construct a model of the agent that “best explains” the observation. Further considerations on this best-explaining model then allow inferences about the agent’s epistemic behaviour to be made. We also provide an algorithm which computes this best explanation.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2005/71","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2005/0071.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2005/71.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2005/bibtex/71","volume":{"slug":"2005","title":"Proceedings of the Nineteenth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2005","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2005/","year":2005,"location":"Edinburgh, Scotland, UK","dates":"","editors":"","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":null,"track":"","number":71,"pages":{"first":394,"last":398},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
