For first-order formulas, a finite model can be found by exhaustive search. For many structured problem instances, there is much isomorphism in the search space. This paper proposes general-purpose techniques for eliminating isomorphic subspaces, which can be helpful when the formulas have many predicates. The techniques are based on inherent symmetries in first-order clauses.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2005/296","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2005/0296.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2005/296.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2005/bibtex/296","volume":{"slug":"2005","title":"Proceedings of the Nineteenth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2005","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2005/","year":2005,"location":"Edinburgh, Scotland, UK","dates":"","editors":"","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":null,"track":"","number":296,"pages":{"first":1525,"last":1515},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
