Making the rating inexpensive and credible is a key aspect of the problem. We formalize the problem as MAP estimation in HMMs where the incoming trace needs repair. We present polynomial time algorithms for computing minimal repairs with maximal likelihood for HMMs, Hidden Semi-Markov Models (HSMMs) and a form of HMMs constrained with a fragment of the temporal logic LTL. We present some results to show the promise of our approach.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2005/149","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2005/0149.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2005/149.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2005/bibtex/149","volume":{"slug":"2005","title":"Proceedings of the Nineteenth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2005","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2005/","year":2005,"location":"Edinburgh, Scotland, UK","dates":"","editors":"","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":null,"track":"","number":149,"pages":{"first":895,"last":900},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[{"position":1,"raw":"E.M.
