In this paper, we propose a method for goal change in the framework of Reiter’s [2001] theory of action in the situation calculus [McCarthy and Hayes, 1969; Levesque et al., 1998], and investigate its properties. We extend the framework developed by Shapiro et al. [1998] and Shapiro and Lesp ́erance [2001], where goals and goal expansion were modelled, but goal contraction was not.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2005/130","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2005/0130.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2005/130.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2005/bibtex/130","volume":{"slug":"2005","title":"Proceedings of the Nineteenth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2005","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2005/","year":2005,"location":"Edinburgh, Scotland, UK","dates":"","editors":"","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":null,"track":"","number":130,"pages":{"first":582,"last":587},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
