We show that the semantics of an MCS is completely determined by the information that is obtained when simulating the MCS, in such a way that a minimal amount of information is deduced at each step of the simulation. In MCS, the acquisition of new information is based on the presence of other information only. We give a generalized account to model situations in which information can be obtained as a result of the absence of other information as well.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2005/124","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2005/0124.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2005/124.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2005/bibtex/124","volume":{"slug":"2005","title":"Proceedings of the Nineteenth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2005","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2005/","year":2005,"location":"Edinburgh, Scotland, UK","dates":"","editors":"","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":null,"track":"","number":124,"pages":{"first":558,"last":562},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
