We show that this extension is undecidable even when RIAs are restricted to the forms R o S ~ R or So R ~ R, but that decidability can be regained by further restricting RIAs to be acyclic. We present a tableau algorithm for this DL and report on its implementation, which behaves well in practise and provides important additional functionality in a medical terminology application.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2003/51","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2003/0051.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2003/51.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2003/bibtex/51","volume":{"slug":"2003","title":"Proceedings of the Eighteenth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2003","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2003/","year":2003,"location":"Acapulco, Mexico","dates":"","editors":"Georg Gottlob","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":null,"track":"","number":51,"pages":{"first":343,"last":347},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
