This produces good results (74.6%) using a decision tree that incorporates both semantic features and syntactic features. Accurate results (90.5%) are achieved for the special case of deciding whether lexical mappings should use count noun or mass noun headwords. Comparable results are also obtained using OpenCyc, the publicly available version of Cyc.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2003/249","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2003/0249.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2003/249.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2003/bibtex/249","volume":{"slug":"2003","title":"Proceedings of the Eighteenth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2003","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2003/","year":2003,"location":"Acapulco, Mexico","dates":"","editors":"Georg Gottlob","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":null,"track":"","number":249,"pages":{"first":1496,"last":-1},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
