We investigate its computational properties (in particular, show that it is EXPTIMEcomplete) and devise a tableau-based satisfiabilitychecking algorithm. To be able to express knowledge about implicit or unknown distances, we then extend the language with variables ranging over distances and prove that the resulting logic is decidable as well.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2003/181","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2003/0181.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2003/181.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2003/bibtex/181","volume":{"slug":"2003","title":"Proceedings of the Eighteenth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2003","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2003/","year":2003,"location":"Acapulco, Mexico","dates":"","editors":"Georg Gottlob","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":null,"track":"","number":181,"pages":{"first":1275,"last":1281},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
