We present an implemented method for the qualitative simulation of large and complex genetic regulatory networks. The method allows a broad range of regulatory interactions between genes to be represented and has been applied to the analysis of a real network of biological interest, the network controlling the inititation of sporulation in the bacterium B. subtilis.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2001/9","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2001/0009.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2001/9.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2001/bibtex/9","volume":{"slug":"2001","title":"Proceedings of the Seventeenth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 2001","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/2001/","year":2001,"location":"Seattle, Washington, USA","dates":"","editors":"","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":null,"track":"","number":9,"pages":{"first":67,"last":72},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
