We propose a method that exploits additional information gained from continuous states, is able to deal with unexpected situations, and takes multiple and conflicting goals into account including additional motivational aspects such as dynamic goals, which allow for situation-dependent motivational influence on the agent. Further we show some domain independent properties of this algorithm along with empirical results gained using the RoboCup simulated soccer environment.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1999/175","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1999/0175.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1999/175.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1999/bibtex/175","volume":{"slug":"1999","title":"Proceedings of the Sixteenth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1999","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1999/","year":1999,"location":"Stockholm, Sweden","dates":"","editors":"Thomas Dean","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":"Software Agents","track":"Software Agents","number":175,"pages":{"first":1233,"last":1237},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
