Based on the corpus investigation, this paper proposes an efficient computational mechanism for recovering problem-solving activities from query messages written in J a.pa.nese. The main claim of the paper is that the underlying problem-solving activity described in a natural language message can be efficiently recovered if provided with general knowledge on human problem-solving and the associated linguistic patterns in the descriptions.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1995/220","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1995/0220.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1995/220.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1995/bibtex/220","volume":{"slug":"1995","title":"Proceedings of the Fourteenth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1995","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1995/","year":1995,"location":"Montréal, Québec, Canada","dates":"","editors":"Chris S.
