The agents' beliefs are modeled as logical theories. The reasoning about their beliefs is formalized in still another theory, which we call the theory of the computer. The framework is used to model non-omniscient belief and shown to have many advantages . For instance, it allows for an exhaustive classification of the \"basic\" forms of non logical omniscience and for their \"composition\" into the structure of the system modeling multiagent omniscient belief.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1993/77","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1993/0077.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1993/77.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1993/bibtex/77","volume":{"slug":"1993","title":"Proceedings of the Thirteenth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1993","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1993/","year":1993,"location":"Chambéry, France","dates":"","editors":"Ruzena Bajcsy","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":"Knowledge Representation","track":"Knowledge Representation","number":77,"pages":{"first":548,"last":553},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
