GERRY performs rescheduling with constraint- based iterative repair, a technique that starts with a complete but possibly flawed schedule and iteratively improves it by using constraint knowledge within repairs. We show empirically how each repair technique performs on a set of random and real-world problems, and conjecture when less \"informedness\" will help speed convergence to solution .","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1993/196","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1993/0196.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1993/196.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1993/bibtex/196","volume":{"slug":"1993","title":"Proceedings of the Thirteenth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1993","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1993/","year":1993,"location":"Chambéry, France","dates":"","editors":"Ruzena Bajcsy","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":"Planning","track":"Planning","number":196,"pages":{"first":1416,"last":1421},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
