It is based on the high performance prover OTTER by W. McCune and also incorporates a model generator. This finds finite models which SCOTT is able to use in a variety of ways to direct its proof search. Clauses generated by the prover are in turn used as axioms of theories to be modelled. Thus prover and model generator inform each other dynamically. This paper describes the algorithm and some sample results.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1993/16","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1993/0016.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1993/16.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1993/bibtex/16","volume":{"slug":"1993","title":"Proceedings of the Thirteenth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1993","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1993/","year":1993,"location":"Chambéry, France","dates":"","editors":"Ruzena Bajcsy","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":"Automated Reasoning","track":"Automated Reasoning","number":16,"pages":{"first":109,"last":114},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
