The algorithm is implemented in the system CLAUDIEN. The system combines clausal refinement operators, depth-first iterative deepening and language bias, to find clausal theories that satisfy a given database and that are expressible in the language. The clausal discovery algorithm computes a minimally complete theory expressible in the language. Such theories are most informative and logically nonredundant.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1993/146","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1993/0146.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1993/146.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1993/bibtex/146","volume":{"slug":"1993","title":"Proceedings of the Thirteenth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1993","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1993/","year":1993,"location":"Chambéry, France","dates":"","editors":"Ruzena Bajcsy","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":"Machine Learning","track":"Machine Learning","number":146,"pages":{"first":1058,"last":1062},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
