Problems with existing inductive logic programming approaches in this setting are sketched and an empirical ILP system, named MPL, that avoids these problems is proposed. Preliminary experiments indicate that MPL can solve problems beyond the scope of other ILP systems.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1993/143","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1993/0143.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1993/143.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1993/bibtex/143","volume":{"slug":"1993","title":"Proceedings of the Thirteenth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1993","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1993/","year":1993,"location":"Chambéry, France","dates":"","editors":"Ruzena Bajcsy","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":"Machine Learning","track":"Machine Learning","number":143,"pages":{"first":1037,"last":1042},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
