We believe that such an approach constitutes the most promising basis for developing learning models that are capable of deciding for themselves what needs to be learned from a given experience. In addition, such methods appear capable of learning about planning at a very abstract level, and thus of supporting the transfer of knowledge from experience in one domain or task to other domains or tasks.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1991/53","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1991/0053.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1991/53.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1991/bibtex/53","volume":{"slug":"1991","title":"Proceedings of the Twelfth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1991","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1991/","year":1991,"location":"Sydney, New South Wales, Australia","dates":"24-30 August 1991","editors":"John Mylopoulos and Ray Reiter","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":"Cognitive Modeling","track":"Cognitive Modeling","number":53,"pages":{"first":353,"last":358},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
