By syntactically distinguishing the \"true negation\" from the \"lack of information,\" we also provide a way to define negative information explicitly. A fixpoint semantics can be defined for stratified and conservative programs. In this paper, we investigate definite autoepistemic programs. We investigate fixpoints of definite autoepistemic programs and show that they coincide with the declarative semantics of these programs. We also define a resolution procedure, called SLSAE-resolution, for such programs. SLSAEresolution is sound and complete for stratified, conservative, and solvable programs .","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1991/130","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1991/0130.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1991/130.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1991/bibtex/130","volume":{"slug":"1991","title":"Proceedings of the Twelfth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1991","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1991/","year":1991,"location":"Sydney, New South Wales, Australia","dates":"24-30 August 1991","editors":"John Mylopoulos and Ray Reiter","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":"Logic Programming","track":"Logic Programming","number":130,"pages":{"first":884,"last":888},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
