Abstract
Tinw 1uu been studied by logici4ns for a long tirM and recvttly it 1uu been modeUed in more and more researcluts in AI. T1u!re exists a gap between til. logics built by temporal logici4ns and those used in AI. This paper aims at filling thls gap and providing a formol study on temporal logics for AI. In thls paper, we present a new axiomatizatwn of AUen & Hayes' temporal logic and locate thetr logic in til. spectrwn of logics built by temporal logici4ns. We also relate point-, .vent- and interval-based nme structures to one anoth.r.
